Located in South Central Kentucky The Equine Retreat is a family run farm dedicated to the comfort and needs of your Retired Horse. Every resident is treated with dignity and kindness, whether they were an upper level competitor or your favorite trail mount. We are very fortunate to have mild winters, mild Summers, and ample grass. Residence live in small herds on large pastures. They all have access to wooded areas, shelters or open stalls depending on their field. They can spend their days sunbathing, relaxing in the shade or napping under a fan. Our job is to keep them safe, healthy and happy. Feedings are tailored to individual horse needs, whether it’s high fat, low calorie, or restricted grass. We’ve got you covered. Every horse receives daily care, and grooming. Depending on the weather, horses also receive blanketing, fly spray, masks, and baths. They will never be short on attention.
